This course will teach the fundamentals of planning and styling larger and more specialized events. We will look at both indoor and outdoor events, including weddings, destination events and conferences. Students will work both individually and in collaboration with others in order to experience being part of a team. For their final project, students will plan and style a large event, including a moodboard, budget and event program.

Entry requirements: Students must have completed the Event Planning & Party Décor Level 1 Course with Full Circle Design FZLLC or have an equivalent qualification.
• Laptop (optional but preferred) with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel programs downloaded (2013 version or more recent) charger, wheel mouse and USB memory stick. Students must have proficient working knowledge of their laptop (PC or Mac) and be able to navigate it without supervision. For any students that are not computer literate or familiar with the above programs, they should bring in any magazines related to interior design/decoration/food/weddings that they can use for their mood boards. Budget breakdowns can be done manually with a calculator.
• Scaled architect’s ruler with 1:50 scale
• A4 Graph paper & A4 tracing paper

Completion Letter: If students successfully pass the final course project and test, they will receive a ‘Letter of Completion’ Certificate which is a useful starting point into a new relevant career. If students miss more than one lesson, they will be required to repeat the whole course at the original fee paid. The letter displays the British Interior Design Institute (BIID) and the Association of Professional Interior Designers (APID) logos which are internationally recognised.If a student does not pass the course, he/she has the option of repeating the course again (current course fee will be applied) or the student can obtain private tuition (details of duration/fees will be discussed/agreed with the individual).
